We get help from an independent, nonprofit organization called Enveritas (let us give you a full introduction to them here).
In short, they verify coffee purchases for sustainability, traceability, and improvement activities. Enveritas purpose is to help, in particular, smallholder farmers participate in a globally sustainable coffee industry.
The skilled and experienced people at Enveritas evaluate our farmers according to key social, environmental, and economic standards. We review the results and identify opportunities for improvement. In 2022, 100% of all our coffee got verified by Enveritas - great right?
