Kristoffer Solstad new Chief People Officer

As Chief People Officer, Kristoffer will focus on strengthening leadership across Espresso House, supporting employees in a changing work environment, and continuing to build an inclusive and engaging culture throughout the organization. He will also join the company’s leadership team.

“Espresso House is an exciting brand I’ve followed for many years, and it’s inspiring to join in the year the company celebrates its 30th anniversary. We are one of the largest employers of young people in the Nordics, and being part of their first step into working life is both a privilege and an important responsibility,” says Kristoffer Solstad, Chief People Officer at Espresso House.

“I’m very happy to welcome Kristoffer. He has a strong passion for learning and leadership development, and his solid operational and strategic experience from the international service and quick-service restaurant industry will help further strengthen the Espresso House brand,” says Thomas Kelly, CEO of Espresso House.

“Espresso House comes to life in the meeting between our employees and our guests. In 2026, we’re putting strong focus on leadership development for our coffee shop managers, giving them the right conditions to build strong teams. I look forward to contributing my experience to developing our people and how we work together. Through strong leadership and an inclusive culture, we create engagement and memorable guest experiences,” says Kristoffer Solstad.

Kristoffer joins from McDonald’s, where he has led the Nordic People & Culture team for the past four years.
